CLASSIC CENTRE COCKPIT

1974 CLASSIC CENTRE COCKPIT

SONRISA

$39,500.00

This classic wooden ketch has sailed the Pacific with a family, she has explored the BC coast and now the owners want to pass her on to a knowledgeable enthusiast who will appreciate what she is.

South Pacific veteran, she is sea worthy for sure.

The interior is quite unique in that the main salon is aft and is combined in open plan with the galley. This includes a Dickinson stove to keep you cozy.

Main salon looking aft. There is a berth right aft next to the windows.

The galley with main salon to the right of picture.

The 80 HP Ford Lehman engine has only about 300 hours on it since complete rebuild at a cost of $63,000 and is accessed through a hatch in the cockpit.

The spruce masts have only recently been rebuilt and any rot has been dealt with. The decks are in the process of annual maintenance after being completely redone some 5 years ago I believe.

There are various fixtures and fittings that are staying on the boat apart from the above mentioned. These will be discussed upon agreement.

She is so worth a look, so call this office or email for more details and an appointment to view. Yes, she will need some work, but then what boat doesn’t?

Part of the survey dated December 2007 is shown above. The rest can be viewed upon inspection.
